CONCEPTUAL DESCRIPTION (English):
This work represents a direct, emotional anchor to the dualities highlighted in the Preda Manifesto: the contrast between the joys of life—such as love and embraces—and the sudden, inevitable moments of abandonment and loss.
Through the methodology of existential subtraction, the artist acts upon the composition by partially fracturing and stripping away elements of a shared reality. What remains is a landscape of unstable fragments. The presence of a highly recognizable, legible remnant of the original subject serves as a nostalgic yet raw anchor to the past. It captures that exact psychological moment when a person awakens from an uncertain reality to brutally discover a different “Self.” It is an unrepeatable monument to the human condition.
