JAM SERIES
In the “Jam” series, works by contemporary artists are stripped of their original physicality and treated according to the principles of the MANIFESTO, leaving behind a single, legible fragment.
Works by painters, sculptors, and photographers undergo this process to be recontextualized into a completely new narrative. This applies to Michele Falaguerra (Rionero in Vulture/PZ, 1932 – Vicenza, 1994), to Dario Zausa (Vicenza, 1961 – 2014), to Aldo Borgonzoni (Medicina/BO, 1913 – Bologna, 2004), and to Otello de Maria (Vicenza, 1909 – Vicenza, 2005); it applies to the Florentine photographer Piero Rosy, and to many others…
It is an orgy of rebirth, a relocation into the contemporary world, and a powerful reinterpretation through Preda’s satirical, irreverent, destructive, and repopulating lens.

CONCEPTUAL DESCRIPTION (English):
In the “Jam” series, works by contemporary artists are stripped of their original physicality and treated according to the foundational principles of the Preda Manifesto. Masterpieces by painters, sculptors, and photographers—including Michele Falaguerra, Dario Zausa, Aldo Borgonzoni, Otello de Maria, and Piero Rosy—undergo a profound process of subversion to be recontextualized into an entirely new narrative.
Through the methodology of existential subtraction, the original physical integrity of these creators is deliberately sacrificed, leaving behind a single, highly legible fragment as a raw historical testimony. The resulting artwork serves as an orgy of rebirth and relocation within the contemporary world; a powerful, sharp reinterpretation viewed through Preda’s satirical, irreverent, destructive, and repopulating lens.
DOCUMENTATION & ARCHIVE:
As part of the conceptual performance, each unique piece within the “Jam” series is accompanied by a dedicated, punctual dossier. The document details the entire destructuring event of the underlying artwork, cataloging the biographical data of the subverted artist, and includes a signed explanatory pamphlet alongside photographic evidence of the original piece captured both before and after Preda’s artistic action.
