CONCEPTUAL DESCRIPTION (English):
Stemming from the core principles of the Preda Manifesto, “Venice on the rocks” materializes through a deliberate artistic action of existential subtraction. The artwork enters the physical space as a sacrificial act against utilitarianism and the erosion of memory. By modifying and destabilizing an iconic object that originally represented its own defined reality, the piece enters a sharp, shifting descriptive context.

Through the macro visualization of worn, altered elements, the work becomes a mirror of our fragile existence. In alignment with the artist’s philosophy, a distinct fragment of the original element has been left untouched and fully legible—acting as a raw, honest testimony of its past existence. This piece challenges the viewer’s perception of stability and global transformation.
